The gear on the dist. isn't a brass/bronze gear, I changed that over the winter when i pulled the dist...I was always told roller cam=bronze gear, flat tappet=steel...so i put a stock steel gear back on it...i need to inspect the camshaft tonight and see if it caused any damage...the big ? now is, where are all these metal shavings, and did they do any internal damage...I may have to PM you later about the clearances...as always thanks for your insight...

well another night at the track, another time running in the top 5 with the race more than 1/2 way over, and another problem....i think thats 4 times so far this year
