the good news is that the only visible damage was to the dizzy gear itself. a new one is installed, timing was reset, oil pressure is good, engine runs clean.
going to do an oil change tomorrow, run it for a bit on fresh oil, and redrain it to make sure any crud that could be floating around is rinsed out.
jz, we would love to tear everything down adn do it the right way, but there are 3 races in the next two weeks(saturday, tuesday special show, and saturday again) so we realy don't have the time to go through it.
car has been working good and now that the timing won't be jumping al over the place it may even have some consistant power too. lol
