			nice arguments, even if they are all over the place.  it's not cheating if the rules allow it.  dunno if you meant NHRA rules, track rules or street rules, but i don't think it's cheating unless it's specifically spelled out that it's against the rules.
 until you get up over 100hp N2O, i don't think compression is an issue, provided you weren't running 14:1 to begin with.  most street cars have less than 9:1 (our beloved camaros with an anemic 8-8.5:1), so it's fairly safe to hook up the bottle and go.  that's why there has been a resurgence in use.  also, i think with the internet's ability to share information, people can get their kit and the smarts to hook it up all in the same day.
