mike, correct, my other cars have alloys and its not an issue.

redneck.. what i believe it has to do with is the shoulder size of the lugnut and more of that. contact area basically. the lugs i have now are designed a little differently so when they are as tight as possible, theres not much surface area holding the wheel and vibrations can spin them easily. At least thats along the lines of what i learned way back when i was into rims on my caddy STS.

i'll see if i can take pics and post em up to show the differences.
