hmm, regular insurance doesn't cover racing either, that is what i thought. So that means that those ppl that race their brand new $90K ZO6 that they might be financing are NOT financially covered for the car if they hit the wall? that sucks. But you can't blame the ins company for that.
anyways, i kno AllState has a policy also, i asked them last yr but they denied me b/c my SS is still my DD.
as far as the garage thing goes; how will they know if you don't have it in one? i mean unless a tree falls on your car or something like that.
basically i just want to make sure that the INS companies don't restrict the use of the car so much i can hardly drive it. 3K miles a yr limit isn't bad b/c i prob wouldnt go past that anyways if i drive the car like how i want to (good weather, spring summer, no work, weekend cruiser, ect).
the biggest thing im looking at is if i "invest" $20K in my car and something happens to it, i can get it back (as long as i follow the rules of the policy). I don't get an "i'm sorry for your loss Sr, here is your check for the value of your car...($6)" That is what happened to my GTA, my dad and i got reamed b/c it was 14 yrs old and to the INS company worth d*ck. even tho the car was show room condt, 81K origional miles, w/ about $3K worth of upgrades in it.
id still like to kno what happens if you go over your milage limit in NJ
