Don't forget to look at the fact that today's ballparks are much smaller and batter friendly. And Colorado did not exist in Aaron's days. Take away those homeruns alone and Barry would never reach the mark. But that's a different argument vs the steroid thing. I have no respect for any athlete in any sport that takes performance enhancing anything. He has a hitting ability but it's all now tainted by what he did.
