By stock TPI, do you mean stock runners, base, plenum, and throttlebody? They choke off around 43-4500 rpms on a 350. If you upgraded to some larger runners, 52mm throttlebody, and port the plenum you might see 5000 rpms. If you're intent on sticking with TPI, focus on making torque, and pick a cam that makes ~a lot~ of it and is done revving by 5K rpms.

I have yet to dyno my motor, but it certainly feels healthy. It's a .030 over 350 with 9.8:1 compression, a ZZ4 cam, and World Products S/R Torquer 58cc heads. They're basically a cast-iron version of the L98 Vette head. Also have 1.5 aluminum roller rockers, SLP runners, ported upper plenum, and a 52mm TB. Soon I'll get the car over to TTP or some other local dyno shop and see how it does.
