[The Fixer]

Hey all,
Many of you will remember my thread about having a "Street Jeep." I already installed Bilstein shocks, Moog thermoplastic swaybar bushings and endlinks, and new front brakes with Raybestos ceramic pads. To complete the transformation though, I really needed a set of street wheels. Well, I finally found a way to make it happen! One of my former students has an '04 Wrangler X, so he traded me his worn out stock 15" tires/wheels plus some cash for the nice rims I had on the Cherokee. However, I had to drive around on those crummy tires for a week, because I found an awesome deal on a set of slightly used Magnum R/T rims. The cash I made on the trade went to the new rims, which I picked up today. What a difference, going from beat Goodyear Wrangler 225/75 15s up to nice Continental 225/60 18s.
