Right! But it isn't ‘BS skills’, it's 'communication skills’. The art of the spin.
They key to anything you write for someone else is knowing your audience and tailoring your work to their whims, insane or not. If your boss/prof likes insanely verbose answers, then write, write, write. If they like 1 page summaries, learn to be concise & use bullet points. And always make sure you answer the question
actually being asked.
I just finished a 20+ page 'paper' today in work. LOL. It never ends...
