Lingenfelter routinely sells or gives away their "whips" after they've developed whatever product they're working on. HPP did an article on an yellow '04 GTO that a guy bought. It was a whip Lengenfelter used to make the exhaust system and power adders for the GTO's.

Edit: They also team up with other companies to create badged special vehicles. Not surprised to see a Firebird in their stable.
