Technically, your car does not qualify under the conditions they stated in the recall, since it is a domestic A4. They were only doing the repairs on export A4 cars. Dunno why GM would do that, but they do crazy stuff all the time. At least the repair they did is working for you now, cause that must have sucked to be stuck without a car!
