to strip the paint use a product called aircraft stripper,plastic use evercoat rage then a putty coat on top of that, sand blast out all rusty spots and sand the **** out of them with a 220 grit on a da sander, primer over bare metal use and etch or epoxy, 1 coat, then a nice high build primer over everything, about 3 coats, wet block primer with 600 grit paper. we use glasurit products are my shop and thats the best ive ever used its the same product used on all high end german cars from the factory.
