i called the trans shop today, he suggested cleaning the transmission computers harness connector on top of the trans....so i did that, we'll see what happens once i drive it long enough to get it hot again. though, the car also has a bad alternator which is getting taken care of thursday...would slightly lower voltage (11-12 probably) have any effect on that? maybe even 10 volts?
