It would probably be easiest to hit something with the other side of the bumper... maybe another disliked make of your choice? Glad everybody was ok. Im surprised that did that much damage to your jeep. Looks like a pretty solid bumper.

I also found out tonight that there was most likely a water main break at that exit sometime during the night. It was either partially or fully closed almost all day today (including rush hour), and at least a few local businesses were w/o water this morning.
I'm hoping there will be something in the paper about it (the possible water main issue) tomorrow, just so that there is more proof showing how bad that one particular section of road was.
