OK then, explain this to me, right-wing geniuses: because you folks wanted to nail Bill Clinton on whatever you could (or couldn't) find on him (so much for "you have to respect the president and support him because he's the president, and if you don't you hate America, right?), we the taxpayer spent millions and millions of dollars on a four-year partisan witch-hunt called "the Whitewater investigation" which was supposedly an investigation about how Bill and Hillary did something wrong LONG BEFORE they got to the White House...in a real estate deal they LOST money on.

Fine.

recently we had republican Speaker Dennis Hastert making at least $1.5 million in a blatantly ******** real estate deal, by buying some cheap boondock farmland, then passing a pork-barel bill to subsidize a highway running by it, then presto, a few months after it passes, cashing out and selling to a developer and making $1.5 million profit PERSONALLY (let alone his partners.)

This, of course, is no big deal, and there was no investigation, of course. And anyone who wonders if, maybe, this is, like, ******** ...is gonna get called a Saddam-loving tree-hugging liberal faggot traitor, right?

Why is that, exactly? Is being a Republican politician like having a license to steal and defraud the taxpayer? Maybe you're proud of this kind of "honesty and integrity" thing?

Or are you idiots just so damn stupid that you don't have an opinion about anything until Denny "hey, it's only $1.5 million, what's the big deal" Hastert, or Rush "lock up all drug addicts other than me" Limbaugh, or Ann "I support terrorism and hate American victims of terrorism" Coulter tells you what to think?

Or is it that you couldn't give a crap about any politician's scams so long as they are the particular guys whose pictures you kiss at night, and not the other ones?

Any explanation would be appreciated, though I won't hold my breath, since the righties only know how to say "liberals hate America!!!" and that's about the extent of your abilities to communicate on any subject whatsoever.
