You obviously dont work in the auto service industry.
BMW, as well as MB and pretty much every other luxury car owner look like lost puppies when I tell them how much it is to fix simple things like brakes, replace tires or oil changes. "Why so expensive?"
I just yell into thier face "ITS A BMW DBAG!!" as I slam thier face into the hood.
I love BMW cars and they way they drive. I like the older basic style of the 7 and 5 seires. No real flare, just a typical German machine. Zero sex appeal, just driving performance. Now, they have "flame surface" design which is not so nice. The nicest looking BMW out there now is the 3 series coupe. Everything else looks cheap, fat, or both.
The 3 series sedan looks like it has plastic door pannels.
the 5 series drag-queen like eye liner headlights are fugly, and its Bangle pouch truck design is fugly.
By far is the tubby looking 7 series is the worst, and so by chance the first of the Bangle designs. The 1 series looks like a midget 3 series, and thats not a good thing. Its greenhouse is about the size of the 3, but is on a car the size of a Solstice. Like a big head on alittle body.
MB is starting to take the lead in German car design, thanks to the Italian designed CLS and how its design language has translated to the new S, CL, and C class.
