what kind of motor is in the GTR? I only ask because the supra's 2-JZE was an inline 6 cylinder. thats why it could hold all that power, it had a lot more main caps than a V6 so the crank was supported better.

Its loosely based on the VQ35 3.5 V6. Its a brand new block displacing 3.8 liters. It was designed specificly for the GT-R. It was built to take large boost levels as well as handle future upgrades. Combine with twin turbo, its a powerful engine set up.
I still dont see where these numbes are coming from. Its 500lbs heavier then the Z06 with 20hp less.
