It's basically pricing info for an LS2 conversion by the Mallet Brothers. And it's natural to assume that there's probably an LS3 conversion in the works, if not by the Mallet Brothers, then by someone else. With the LS2 conversion, you can buy a stripped-down Solstice for a little over $20,000 (with GMS pricing), send it off to the Mallet Brothers, and pay them $22,500 to do an LS2 conversion that would also upgrade the shocks, radiator, muffler, and shock absorbers. Add everything together and you have a lightweight roadster that cost just as much as a base model C6, would be rarer, and can be made to look much better than a regular C6. Plus, there's a 2-year, 24,000 mile warranty on the parts installed by the Mallet Brothers. |
Hot Rod did a 3 part story @ the Mallet conversion about a year ago. SICK!
