I think just for a child born you get $100 automatically
I've done mine once before but its a little more involved because my parents declare me on their return so their accountant does mine for free. I'm also still taking tax, so I'm still learning this stuff. Next year by this time I'll already have graduated with a BS in Accounting, so I'll know more about it then I'll want to lol
