I don't know? I didn't work in the afternoon. It was probably just that it was a 2-driver car. I know on one run he got red-flagged because of a dangerous situation on course, so that netted him a re-run.
That brings me to another point. The way the course was set up, there was the potential for two cars to be going head to head with out much separation and it brought out the red flag 3 or 4 times in the first session.
Partly due to new drivers getting lost on course, partly due to course layout, partly due to the timing in which the cars were being released from the line, partly due to course workers "spectating" a bit, but definitely something for everyone to consider in the future and be more aware of. It was the first day out this season so I think that too was a contributing factor.
