IMO, I feel that in a fuel injected vehicle, your not goign to see any gains using alternative addatives because the computer has a preset amount of fuel to put in under different loads, speeds, etc. To me the only way to increase mileage is by the way you drive. Now putting H2O in might allow you to use more of the output given by the firing, but it wont make you use that much less fuel unless your computer was programmed to realize it has an H2O system and doesnt need to put in as much fuel. All in all, its not what you put into your tank, its how hard you press that pedal, and where you drive, what conditions, altitude, etc. Im sure someone will come on here and say oh yea well I used brand X addative and it gave me 2 more miles to the gallon... well was it because you were in the city, on the highway, how fast do you usually drive, how often was there someone in front of you to take away a little drag, how hot was it during that time you had the fuel, how humid was it during that season. To me, fuel addatives is nothing more then snake oil, if it makes you mentally feel your getting more, good to hear, but its really what you do, not what your car does and whats in it that makes the difference. Now I will say I do use addatives every now and then to clean the system up, and make sure it runs well, but I dont need to pay 6 bucks for a fuel addative to give me 40 miles more when that could of gone to 2 more gallons of gas taht'll give me 60 more miles.
