the acetone i have suggested is the beauty supply stuff -- its 100% pure and has no additives the commercial stuff for industry does i said that -- and all acetone products will and do remove paint thats what it is a paint remover additive --- the stuff i get is for human use not industry and its different
MY 1990 305 5 speed stick 2500 pickup, i had used it in it for over 50,000 miles almost every tank full and when it was not used, it would not in the summer drive on rt 80 at 65 with the air on in 5 th gear - do the denville hill and ledgewood hill , the truck would with out downshifting go up and over both it also got 2 to 3 miles more per gallon and inspection time it would fail with out the acetone in the fuel as well -- my 03 d max diesel does real well on it only one MPG more on average but it has less motor noise and more pep i am happy -- my 1981 300D benz starts a lot better in the winter and does not smoke with the acetone in the fuel, but as the temps warm the motor pings with it so its a cold weather thing, my 07 jeep gets 3 more per gallon over the road and only one around town - my 99 buick could care less about any of it it just does nothing different - the stroker fatboy loves it to death better MPG more power smoother on HWY at hi speed loves it, one of the 95 buell thunderbolts with a road racing motor, its 50 / 50 the compression is to hi i think some thanks it does it and some it does nothing - our 68 nova 9:30 super / street - gas car off the stop hates it its dial is all over the place cant get it to repeat for nothing - my lawn mower cuts the grass on one tank not one and a 1/3 the polars 500 4X4 4 wheeler pit runabout loves it runs for ever on a tank 3 days of racing -- the 140 HP 16 foot boat does not care ether way the patio boat likes it runs much longer on a 5 gallon can and of the 15 customers with HOT motored bikes we built who are using it -- non will stop theirs something they all like about it and my brother truck gets 75 more miles to his cabin he always had to stop to re fill on the way now he does not so in my study it works for us but we only buy the beauty supply 100% pure acetone and i am told its different and all are on a 1 oz per 10 gallons is what i found that works for us -- jz
