Ford still has some control over AM too. AM was purchased by a bunch of investors and thier Pro Drive race team. Ford still retains 30% or something like that.
Actually, Ford was the first company to make AM profitable, and the first time AM was purchased when it was profitable. Lets hope Jag can keep the ball rolling with the XF model, and next gen XJ's, etc.
LR is LR. Car was a POS back then, its still a POS now...just super expensive.
