You are missing the point - toe adjustment is how you straighten a steering wheel. If the s/w is off a lot (say>30* or so) then the wheel has to come off & go back on in a better position. But you still fine tune it with toe. An equal adjustment to toe-in on one side and toe-out on the other straightens the wheel and does not change the alignment. In theory you could do it yourself, but in my experience few people can do this well. Someone with no experience probably cannot.

the fact the wheel is not OE is irrelevant.
