I remember seeing that and my immediate thought was cool stuff, but completely overwhelming for any single person to undertake. I mean it would take years to catalog the stuff accurately, determine ballpark value etc. etc. etc. That led me to think that a company such as Year One (or similar co.) should step in and buy it. They have the resources, both from a monetary and manpower standpoint to go through it and put those parts back into the muscle car community versus letting them sit in a warehouse collecting dust.
Cool stuff for sure, but my days of being awwed by #'s matching stuff is long over, probably because of proliferation of clones, fakes and such. No doubt it is still a long and arduous task to do high level #'s type restorations, but I just don't get all excited over it anymore.
Hopefully someone or group of someone's put those parts to good used. The going price for scrap is climbing every day......hahahaha....I hope not
Chris
