Yeah, I have been using a minnow Rapala lure back there up until yesterday, and landed the big one on a 5" White/Speckled Senko worm on medium action. I think the bigger ones like the worm with little action on the bottom, while the smaller ones went for the action on top of the water since they were going for bugs and the such. Ya dont get to be a 5.5 lb Large Mouth by eating flies
I saw a ~5 pounder chase after a big Sun fish when I had it hooked, so I think I will use the sunnies as bait next time I catch one.
