Not sure I understand the question. The "nut" is just for mounting the sensor, it is not the actual sensor. The sensor snaps into it (inside the nut). If the sensor is bad, you just replace the sensor, no need to remove or do anything with the nut. If you look at the nut, there is a slot in one side, slide a small screwdriver in there to release the sensor.

I'm not near my car, I can't verify this, I think the nut just screws into the pan, the pan is threaded, there isn't any thing inside the pan.
