In reality the L72 was in production in early 69 so i dont see why the heads couldnt be cast in late 68. Maybe i was wrong, just to be sure I will check the date again tonight, yank the valves, clean them up, take pics and post them. If you are interested in them you are welcome to come take a look and make an offer, but regardless, thanks for your imput, I apreciate it.
