I wasn't hooked up to the electrodes yet when I made the post. And yes, I could be online. It was more for today's testing, since I"d be up for 2 hours and then nap, then up for 2 hours and then nap. Needed something to do.
However, I suck. I couldn't fall asleep. The electrodes weren't bothering me, but one kept falling off on my head so they were constantly in the room pushing on my head to reattach it. The oxygen sensor on my finger felt like it was cutting off circulation. The air sensors and snore sensors in my nose were annoying. The AC made loud noises when it went on and off. Basically, it was a strange place and I couldn't fall asleep. Finally, at around 3am, we gave up, since I wouldn't get enough sleep for the test to be valid, so they took some of the stuff off, and I slept for 2 hours and then they sent me home.
My doctor had given me a sample of Ambien to take, but I got there pretty tired already, and didn't want to mess with the results, and I'd never taken it before and didn't know the effects, so I decided not to take it. If I had, I'd still be there now doing the other tests.
Guess I'll be going back another time.
