Some of us that live in the area or where things havent really changed still go. I live 30-40 mins away, but I try to make it up there. Gas prices do hinder me some times as its not easy going from a car that got 26mpg to 18mpg, and thats the best one.
But nothing really "killed" it. Its not like every time we had a trucks meet there were 40-50 people there. Its not some mythical beast that people from all over teh state went too. Most of the time it was 6 to 8 people.
There stilla re times when there are 10 cars there and 20 people, but no more no less then there used to be. And just cause there are a small group of people doesnt mean that its not fun. Hell, one of the best times is when it was Ian and myself, and we got to touch girls boobs, butts, and Ian got to kick a guy in the junk. And no jail time!!
I remember a few weeks ago there were a lot of people there.
