According to Chevy's site, the HHR starts at $17,370, and the SS starts at almost $24k

Would be nice, but I think too much money.

My vote would be for a 1-2 year old Cobalt 5 speed with the 2.2 Ecotec. 148 hp / 152 tq and it's rated 25 city / 36 highway.

And keep the Z28 if at all possible....the extra money would certainly be nice, but you'll regret it for sure.
