I think the 'birds have slightly less clearance than Camaros, but I have a 2 5/8" x 14" K&N filter, with an offset (to clear large cap HEI) drop base, and the K&N Xtreme flow lid. With minor trimming of the braces it clears a stock flat Camaro hood. That's with a Performer intake and either my Q-jet or Holley 750 DP.
