Basically its little sacks thhat can form on the intestine that if something gets stuck in them such as small nuts they can get infected/inflammed which causes some SERIOUS pain.
So bad that I ended up going to the emergency room for it as I couldn't take the pain anymore.
Many people go along time without knowing they have it but its at least partially attributed to diet.

I would have expected them to diagnose this already. I was under the impression they would be able to see this from the CT scans, as well as from other methods (all the blood work, etc). They've made no mention of this being a possible diagnosis.

I'm sure it's possible, considering we never had a clue that he had any acid issues.
