Yeah, but with a bad tune you can really do some damage.

My dad and I set the state record in one of the emissions catigories (NOx I think) right when he bought his BB Vette. We took it straight to inspection to get a rejected sticker and boy did we get rejected. It was basically dumping raw gas onto the emissions sensor LOL.
