Stainless Works make a chambered exhaust for F-body's in full 3" but they only make it for 93 - 02 F-body's even though the third gens exhaust is just about the same I would have to change the hanger brakects to make it work and for over a $900 price tag Id probaly be better off going to mufflex and getting a complete system made up. I know they say the GMMG exhaust can handle alot of power but the guy's at mufflex seem to disagree on what diameter tubing is best for my engine set up.
Think of it this way the intermediate pipe is 3 inch and it splits into two 2 1/2inch pipes thats basically is equal to one 5 inch pipe. its been shown on a dyno that this ctback made 1hp less than a true dual set up. Dont let the two 2 1/2 inch tailpipes fool you. They get the job done. If they were 3 inch it wouldnt make to much of a difference. maybe 1 hp and 1hp is not gonna make you win a race.
