I am not sure I agree with you about the strength thing John.. I have two th350 cars out this season that go into the single diget et range. One weighs 3250 the other a little heavier, both street cars. We just freshend the one trans after over 300 passes and the band was the only part that really wore down, but otherwise no breakage. So if built correctly they can hold up decently..
