What did we learn in this thread?
Well, we learned that the GT500KR is just another big let down from the Speshal Vehicles Team over at Ford. We learned that the Corvette Z06 is one of the best bang for the buck cars out there. We also learned that the GTR is a fanboy car, and while no media or any other public testing has done to prove that a bone stock GTR is faster then a Z06 around the track.
But all that doesnt matter if you dont like modern cars and like to build things yourself. While the fight for home built vs factory made will be a fight that has gone on for half a century, and will go on till man no longer needs a car to traverse across small to great distances. We know that the people who build the car will probably get just as much enjoyment out of it, if not more, then someone who can go in and purchase a modern super car, but purchasing said car comes with millions of dollars of super intelligent R&D from engineers that have more time behind a race car then all of us on this site put together. And they put this package together for you with a warranty and the ability to drive it normally every day, without problems.
