with catwoman you get hand to hand combat.

if you also remember the story of the riddler he is a genius. one who thinks he should be famous. batman gets a bad wrap from gotham (dont they all) then the riddler starts sending out riddles to people he's deduced can be batman. afterwards he deduces that batman is bruce wayne.

the riddler/batman saga is never about fist fighting. more about batman dealing with himself as one person rather than having to deal with two identies (to defeat the riddler he must do it as bruce wayne as well proving to himself that batman is bruce and vice versa, i.e doesnt need the suit.)

i think its awesome the riddler will be there. catwoman will provide the fights and riddler will provide the chills.

i havent even seen the dark knight or batman begins. just a fan of old comics

I read the comics and know that about Catwoman, but Batman usually has the upperhand when fighting. Plus, although she could go toe-to-toe with Batman in a fight, She wouldn't have the fighting presence of Bane. Bane looks like he could beat Batman with ease, although he doesn't.

I mean I respect where you're coming from, especially that you are a comic book reader like myself. Talking comics is as cool as talking cars. I just don't think the Riddler can draw a crowd like Bane would. And I think no matter how hard they try, having Catwoman in a movie would just be too much like Batman Returns. I mean I like the characte of Catwoman and everyone knows that Batman has the best rogues gallery, but they need to be very careful which villain they pick if they want the third installment to be even half as good as The Dark Knight was.

I keep telling people they should have saved the Dark Knight for the third installment. With how successful it did in the box office, the thired installment probably won't beat the ticket sales. Of course I am talking from am money making standpoint, which doesn't always determine as to whether its a good movie or not.
