well, here's the thing... and it's not easy to do, so don't try this at home. in order to try and memorize who some of you are, i kept the pictures from the thread "post yer pic", and i put everyone's name on the pic as the title so i would know who i was memorizing. of course, that doesn't work with the new people or people who didn't post a pic back then.

and the spoons... well, that's an easy one. i wanted to know what candy apple red would look like over different bases, like gold and silver and copper. since the spoons are plastic, like models, and they have complex shapes, ie, they're not flat, then they would be a good representation of what the paint would look like on the car. that, and they're cheap, too. tell me you don't have plastic spoons in your cutlery drawer.

and, yes, i have been busy. i went a little crazy on ebay and i was highly motivated there for a while during the winter last year. it's amazing what you can accomplish when you have as much time on your hands as i do...
