ok, it's like any other car. more air in, more air out, == better performance. since you have the lid already, work on getting the air out. headers and a cat-back, should be first on the list.
then, since it's got the ws6 suspension (better than stock OEM) and the 1le anti-roll bars, that leaves the lower arms and pan hard rod. if you wanted to get exotic, you could put air bags in the rear instead of springs and shocks.
once you start to increase power inside the motor, you'll probably want to upgrade the trans (rated to what HP?) and rear (rated to what HP?) to be able to handle the new power instead of breaking things. but, i mean, how much power are you going to shoot for? is this the plaything and some other car will be your DD? if so, throw out the rule book and start upgrading parts. if it will be your DD, then you want a little more conservative tune to still be able to drive it on the street. that's not to say that you can't have 500 hp/lb ft in a DD and still be comfortable driving it.
