I would check the weight of a Saab engine before i go dropping that in there. changing the engine without setting up the suspension for the added weight can change the handling characteristics, and also the wear and tear on such parts as brakes and shocks. personally, forget about it, its more work then you need to get yourself involved in. you say you have no money so putting a engine and fab up setups to make it fit, which will cost alot of money. you gotta change the cooling system, the fuel system, most likely the positoin of the shifting linkage,steering linkage, or rack depending on what you have ,and thats if it will fit after the 350 is in there. and thats just off the top of my head. then you gotta weld stuff as well, and also make it fitall under there. best thing to do, is jsut replace hte trans and move on. and as for the engine, find a rolling chassis and move on with that.
