GM already got 25 billion and now they want another 10? No thanks. A lot these articles blame the government which is, in part, to blame. However what about GM's mismanagement? What about their putrid(at times) quality and piss poor advertising? They gambled and put most of their resources into the SUV market and it bit them in the ass....the last time I checked when I gamble down in AC I can't call up my local government office and ask for a bailout, lol. What about the UAW? They're helping to bleed GM dry while the import companies can run union free and maximize profits. I don't see how this is just an issue in Washington. GM may be coming out with awesome vehicles now, both from a performance standpoint, a market standpoint and a society standpoint but they're late to the party, as usual. 20 years of mediocre cars isn't Washington's fault.
