GM didnt get 25 billion, and its still not signed off yet.
The 25 billion is for the Big 3 AND suppliers. GM would see about 3-4 billion of it. Not a bunch when you figure out that the capital to launch a program like the upcoming Epsilon 2 midsized sedan is about that much.
GM wants 10 billion, but the majority of it would go to VEBA to help support the retirement program that GM set up with the UAW.
3-4 billion would go to helping with the merger.
Delorenzo is one of the biggest critics of the Big 3. Read his other rants, there is a wealth of info from him. I like reading his stuff, even if I dont agree with some of them.
