I see GM's problems all boiling down to one, singular issue. Marketing. They have continually dropped the ball over every big opportunity. Just watch TV for the ads, see what your favorite show's star is driving, or see who sponsored the radio shows you listen to, rarely if ever a GM.
GM has consistantly gotten top marks in quality, unlike Ford who had to advertise they finally caught up to the Jap companies.

GM also has more 5star safety rated cars and trucks than any other manufacturer.

GM has the lowest priced hybrids on the market, Motorweek pitted the Malibu against the Toyota and figured out you would only have to drive the import 250,000 miles for the difference in mileage to make up for the difference in price, and that was using $4 a gallon, it would take longer now that gas has gone down.

GM even has several zero landfill, zero waste, and renewable power facilities to keep the hippies happy.

How can a company with so many things going right gt it so wrong, so consistantly.
