No doubt about it, GM put itself into a SUV craze that made them fat and happy. But thats where the money is. They did screw up, but they are on track now. They are trying to cut down as much as they can, cut down and slim down, but as they lose more and more money, they cant work fast enough.
GM has a lot of work to do if this goes through. This should be the financial boost that GM needs to get themselves moving foward, bringing us the vehicles that will help America in general. Problem is, is there a CEO in office to do what is nessecary to make the cuts, make the choices, take the risks to move foward. I think Rick is a good guy, but right now we need someone with a bit more punch. He has done many things to set GM on track, but I think that once this goes through, he should step down and a new CEO should come up to take the reign of the "New" GM.
