I do know I had a cheap-o on one of my cars. it didn't fit real tight, from it flapping in the wind it worked like sand paper over the winter and rubber the paint off the roof anf trunk lid.

When you put the car away throw some dryer sheets ( for softening clothes ) in the car, it will keep the mice out and also make the car smell dryer fresh in the spring.
nice idea with the dryer sheets! will do. i also got a teather cable with lock so the cover should stay secure. it is a fitted cover as well. thanks.
