This one is a bolt on, but the resonance in the B string is amazing, it would be pretty hard to tell from listening (the MTD's are the same way). I've been playing it since Monday and can't put it down. The feel, tone, and character of it is the best I've ever played. I found a new use for youtube two months ago, I found a bunch of songs I know how to play or want to know how to play and saved them all as favorites, and I created my own playlist, so I can play along with all these songs for an hour or two, or three
and this bass sits wonderfully in the mix. Bass Specialties has another one there if you're ever in that area and want to check it out. Here's a pic of the other one;
