I'm a retail manager and i hate dealing with people who have little understanding of the English language. 99% of the time the people that can't speak a lick of English are very polite and respectful. I do my best to work with them and have no real problem doing so. The transactions usually go through flawlessly and we both go on our separate ways.

I start having a problem when I get a rude customer that attempts to argue with me in a form of terrible English that i just simply can't understand or I can't communicate to them clearly what I'm trying to say. This is where problems start and why i think it is highly useful for everyone to be able to communicate smoothly in English.
