Yes, if you plan on getting a trailer and hauling the Camaro around you should definitely spring for a 2500 / 6.0L.

If you just want to be able to pull it around once in a while then a 1500 / 5.3 would be just fine. The 4.8 would be able to tow it as well, but it would be more of a struggle.
