You're not 'offically' enlisted yet....you're just in the delayed entry program. You can still walk out....
You're "OFFICIAL U.S. GUMBIT PROPERTY" when you swear in again at boot camp. Then its all said and done. They'll try to mess with some of you and get some to take some crappy duty or mess with any 'open contract' types....
